MOPS at Kenwood Baptist Church is a sisterhood that welcomes ALL moms to experience the love of Jesus through building deeper friendships and empowering one another through this journey of motherhood.

Moms in all stages of motherhood (infants, preschoolers, school age, college and beyond) are welcome to register in our mom's group, hosted initially at Kenwood Baptist Church. We will meet the second Thursday of September and May as a large community at KBC while the second Thursday of October through April your group will meet in your leader's home for a cozy and inviting book club atmosphere.  Childcare and age-appropriate activities are provided for children of all ages during meetings both at the church and in homes.

Our amazing discussion group leaders host groups in their homes once a month.  Click below to head to our leader page to find out which group best fits your needs!

This year our discussion groups will study the book “Mom Set Free” by Jeannie Cunnion.  You are encouraged to purchase the book and to be as active as possible in the monthly discussions. While we hope each mom can prepare one chapter each month, we understand life happens.  If you are unable to prepare, please still come. We are confident you will have plenty to share and glean from. On the other hand, there are extra readings you can do if you choose to dive in deeper.

Check out the calendar of playgroup events and mom’s nights and RSVP where required.

Moms not registered in our group are welcome to join us in playdates and mom’s nights, so invite a friend!

Come to Kenwood Baptist Church

Thursday, Sept 13 9:30-11:30 am (childcare 9:15-11:45) to meet your group.

(Madeira)

Jen lives in Madeira with her husband Ben and daughter Anna (two on September 13th).  They are expecting a baby boy late October.  This will be her third year in MOPs.

Being a stay at home mom has been a dream for Jen for a while and she is fortunite her kids and husband give her the opportunity to focus on her family and leave the corporate life behind (at least for the time being).

She still feels like motherhood is something that just started for her and is constantly learning through her daughter and mothers that surround her.  Without other mommas, she wouldn’t be able to do this job!
